Welcome To Prairie Yarns!

We are located at 2607 South University in Fargo, ND. Our shop hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10-7
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: 10-5.

We provide outstanding yarn and accessories in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Our employees are experienced knitters and crocheters who are available to assist you when you need help with your projects.

Our classes include a variety of projects from beginner to advanced knitting along with crochet classes. We also offer individual and group tutoring.

Prairie Yarns supports compassionate knitting for items such as chemo caps, baby hats, and hats and mittens for kids in need. Our Coffee Cup Project has raised more than $400 for the Great Plains Food Bank. Our "50 Caps in 50 Days" campaign yielded almost 400 chemo caps, which were donated to the Essentia Health cancer center in Fargo. We are committed to giving back to the community by supporting charitable knitting efforts.
